Adjustable Fibrillation Current
Light and Compact
Input 230 V and Output 0-12V
The electronic Fibrillator is specially designed for Open Heart
Surgical Procedures
The cardiac Fibrillator provides and adjustable alternating current
to fibrillate the heart.
The patient electode is of the 2-lead isolated type and can be easily
autoclaved/sterlised. The fibrillation current delivered to the
patient is controlled by a rotary potentiometer and displayed
on a panel meter. The current capacity is from ) to 15 milli-Amperes.
The switch serves to turn the unit on or off. The indicator in the switch lights up when the unit is turned on INPUT VOLTAGE 220V-1AMPS.
The output voltage is adjustable from 0-12V using Potentio meter should be set to OV when turning on the unit the voltage can then immediately be adjusted up to 12V.However, if the potentio meter had not been set to OV prior to turning on the unit the rest LED will start blinking. The unit is then ready for adjusting the output voltage.
The cable of the electrode has a length of approximately 3M banana Plug which are to be plugged into output sockets.
The power cable is firmly attached to the fibrillator has a length of 3M
There are only few preparatory steps to take place the unit outside the sterile Area. The cable and the electrodes have been sterilized (if applicable for the Operation at hand) and ready for use.
• Check if the mains voltage complies with the voltage specified on the rear panel.
• Connect the power cable to a wall outet.
• Prior to operation, check safety circuit with power switch turned off, turn the Potentiometer to center position, turn power switch on the indicator.
• Ensure that potentio meter is pointing to OV • Turn power switch on the indicator. • Slowly turn potentio meter to increase output voltage clockwise until cardiac arrest is observed
Caution: Do not paddle joining together after use...keep it separately.
